India China Military Exercise - Tension in Ladakh and Indian Army going to practice with Chinese soldiers, know what is the whole matter
India has not yet issued any sanctioned statement regarding the exercise. still, it's believed that the Indian Army will surely go to Russia to share in Vostok 2022. After the irruption of Ukraine, India has receded itself from making statements against Russia in numerous transnational forums.
China Beijing: The standoff between India and China in Ladakh continues. Despite 16 rounds of military talks between the two countries, there is still no complete disengagement in the LAC. In such a situation, the Indian and Chinese troops are going to join the exercise together amid the ongoing tension on the border. This exercise named Vostok 2022 is going to be held in Russia. Apart from India, China, Russia, the army of Belarus, Mongolia, Tajikistan will also participate in this exercise. The Vostok exercise will be held in Russia from August 30 to September 5. Russia said all member states agreed to participate in the drills. It has nothing to do with the current regional tensions.
China's Ministry of Defense issued a statement
China's Ministry of Defense issued a statement saying that Chinese troops will go to the host country to participate in joint military exercises led by Russia. The ministry also clarified that China's participation in this joint exercise is unrelated to the current international and regional situation. China's defense ministry said its participation in the exercise is part of an ongoing bilateral annual cooperation agreement with Russia. It aims to deepen practical and friendly cooperation with the militaries of the participating countries, increase the level of strategic cooperation between the participating parties and strengthen capabilities to counter various security threats.

India is yet to issue any official statement on the exercise. However, it is believed that the Indian Army will definitely go to Russia to participate in Vostok 2022. After the Ukraine invasion, India has distanced itself from making statements against Russia in many international forums. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Russian President Vladimir Putin have held talks at least twice during this period. Currently, India's Security Advisor Ajit Doval is also on a visit to Russia. India buys huge amount of crude oil from Russia despite international sanctions.

Relations between Russia and China have also strengthened significantly since the invasion of Ukraine. In February, China and Russia announced an unlimited partnership. Earlier it was claimed that China was supplying weapons to its friend Russia during the Ukraine war. But US officials say they have so far found no evidence that China is supplying Russia with weapons.
