COVID-19 vaccine of the US-based firm Moderna has started showing positive results. It is believed to be a great success as it is the first vaccine that has produced antibodies against the virus.

RNA). This vaccine injects messenger
RNA to generate immunity against viruses.

MRNA-1273 produced antibodies and also prevented the reproduction of the virus. The level of developed antibodies was similar to that of patients who were recovered from the virus.

The low and medium dose of the vaccine produced redness at the place where it was injected. In case of high dose, symptoms of fever and headache were observed in patients. However, these side effects were overcome a day later. The vaccine can reach the market by December, 2020.
