| Mekhliganj Police Caught 3 Robbers, West Bangal |
Chengrbanda: The police of Mekhliganj station foiled the robbery. At midnight on Sunday, three people were arrested with firearms from changrabanda's VIP compound. Ajay Kumar Singh, Ravindra Kumar Singh and Binod Kumar Chaudhary. His house is in Madhupur district of Bihar.
Police raided the area after receiving information yesterday. Throee mobiles and a car were seized from the accused with a firearm, ammunition round, two sharp arms.
The police have admitted that they had gone there for robbery. The accused have been prosecuted under some provisions. The police has launched an inquiry under the leadership of OC Ijnjaya Chakravarty of Mekhalganj police station.
The area along the Bangladesh border is already facing criminal charges. It is an open border of Bangladesh.
This is a complaint of open SIM. However, in yesterday's incident, the culprits were caught by the police and the residents of the area were relieved.
